Brigadier General Berry serves as the Assistant Adjutant General for the Nevada Air National Guard. As such he is responsible for all policies, programs, and plans affecting more than 1,100 Air National guard personnel. Additionally, he serves as the official channel of communication with the National Guard Bureau and the Department of the Air Force.
His vast leadership and training experience spans more than two decades in public and private service. Completing 25 years of ser-vice with the Reno Police Department he retired as the Assistant Chief of Police overseeing the Administrative Division. Twice selected as Officer of the Year by the Reno Police Department he has also received the President’s Medal from the University of Nevada. He received his commission from the Air National Guard Academy of Military Science in 1990 and was promoted to Brigadier General in 2013.
His educational achievements include the award of a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Nevada and graduation from the Air War College.

Known as a motivational speaker he has spoken in all 50 states and the District of Columbia as well as several foreign countries. Currently he is the Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion and Development for the MGM Resorts International.
