Colonel Daniel Wittnam
Commanding Officer, Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center

Colonel Wittnam’s illustrious career began in 1995 as an Infantryman in the 1st Battalion, 7th Marines and in 2019 he served as the Assistant Chief of Staff, as G-5 Strategy and Plans Division ay Training and Education Command in Quantico, Virginia. He assumed his duties as the Commanding Officer, at the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center in July of 2020.

He has served in Iraq, Japan, the Mediterranean, Haiti and Afghanistan.

He earned a Master of Arts Degree in Strategy and National Defense Planning and a second Master of Arts Degree in Strategy and Resourcing..  Read more.
